Manufacturers were exited to bring out this new format to the listening public. The Living Stereo album gave to the home listener the experience the concert going public witnessed live. Vocalists and soloists sounded like they were in the room with you, instead of just a recording coming a single speaker. RCA Victor led the way with stereo with engineers and technicians paying careful attention to the quality of the recorded sound. Today, these recording are considered audiophile quality recordings -- a witness to quality from the past.
