Emperor Ming's surprise air attack is dealt a stunning defeat as well as the recapture of Ming's minion by Flash Gordon and in a diabolical doublecross Ming now holds Dale Arden, Princess Aura and Dr. Zarkov captive. With the lives of their friends hanging over their heads, Flash and Prince Barin mount a rescue via an old abandoned tunnel.
